William “Bill” Dale Cash

William “Bill” Dale Cash, 78, passed away in the early morning hours of February 16th. His wife, Cheryl, was by his side. Bill was born on April 21, 1945 in Vigo County, Indiana. His parents were William and Hettie Cash.

Bill was a 1963 graduate of Van Buren High School in Brazil, Indiana. That same year, he and Cheryl were married and they began building a family together.

Bill worked for Columbia Records for a number of years before becoming an owner/operator over-the-road truck driver. Later in life he renewed his relationship with Jesus and became a minister leading churches in Madison, Otwell and Cory, Indiana. Until his death, Bill was a faithful servant of God and we are comforted knowing he is at home with his Savior.

Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cheryl Briner Cash, sons James David Cash (Rebecca) and Jacob Christopher Cash (Sarah), daughter Hettie Cash Hueber (Darrick), grandchildren Heather (Sam) Schetter, Kiri Cash, Robert (Kelsey) Switzer, Will Cash, Noah Cash, Ray Cash, Jillian Cash, Ruby Hueber, Cora Hueber, Eli Cash, and Caleb Cash, great-grandchildren Maddie Schetter, Zane Schetter, Alice Cash, Gabriel Wright and Torie Wright, as well as his brother John (Roberta) Cash and several nieces. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sharon Cash, his son William Briner Cash and his granddaughter Cheryl Wright.

A private family service will be held at graveside.
