William “Bill” Todd Inabnitt

Bill succeeded in life.

He was called home on September 17, 2022, and was told, “Well done, good and faithful servant” – Matthew 25:23. His 57 years earthside were too short for those he left behind because of the impact he had on so many hearts.

The successors of his great legacy are his wife, Jennifer Carol Inabnitt (58) who shared 28 wonderful years of marriage, son, William Thomas Inabnitt (26), daughter-in-love, Alexsa Inabnitt (26), grandkids, Corrinne Inabnitt (3), Elsie Inabnitt (1), and a third grandchild coming into this world in November, who was lovingly called “Oscar” by Pappy, and daughter, Carly Lenore Inabnitt (23). Siblings are Carla Jean Beeson (Howard Beeson) and Donna Jill Miller (Kent Miller), along with nieces and nephews all over the world, who will never forget the place he holds in their hearts.

Bill and Jen loved to travel and visit them as often as life would allow. The footsteps in which he followed through life and into heaven are his father, Carlis “Toddy” Inabnitt (March 14, 2012), brother, Andrew “Joe” Inabnitt (February 2, 2018), and mother, Barbara Ann Inabnitt (January 31, 2021).

Bill was the owner of Inabnitt Agency in Bargersville, IN, for over thirty years. He began his role around 20 years old coming to help his father as office manager, and soon after taking over the business.

He was a member of Jubilee Masonic Lodge No. 746 F. & A.M. in Whiteland, Murat Shrine, and Johnson County Shrine Club. He was also a member and President of the Green Valley Conservation Club.

Bill and Jen are members of Life Change Church in Greenwood, IN.

His celebration of life will be announced at a later date on the Inabnitt Agency Facebook page. Memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, c/o Murat Shrine, 510 N. New Jersey Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204.

Bill was a great friend and I will always remember growing up three houses from him on Mullnix road. I enjoyed all of his family. See you soon Bill. God bless you and your family!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss and heartache. My heart hurts for each of you and I will keep you each in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days. Even though it has been many, many years since I last saw my sweet cousin, I still have many happy memories of our childhood visits with one another. He was always happy when we were together and very loving and kind, always sharing what he had with me. I still have a leather bracelet with my name on it that he made for me when we were children. I know each person that came in contact with Bill was blessed to get to know him and their lives were more enriched for having met him. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and my prayers will be for comfort and peace from our Heavenly Father during your days of grieving.

My heart is broken…. But also at ease knowing Bill is in the heavens above where he surely belongs. He was one of the kindest people I ever met. I worked with Bill for many years — 20 to be exact and he never changed. Always had a smile an encouraging word when needed and he always had time when he knew you needed it. Bill was a true friend to everyone he met. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jennifer this is not a sad good bye.. it is just til you see him again! Bill and I were friends from the moment we met. He was a great example of how to be a husband, father, and friend. He wasn’t afraid to have the hard talks and always knew how to end them with love. I’m going to miss the jerk. Love you Bill.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news about Bill. In the short time I got to know him, Bill showed himself to be a kind and generous man who genuinely cared about you. I, as well as many others, enjoyed being around him as he was always so full of life, cheer, and was just a great man period. He is greatly missed. My deepest condolences to the Inabnitt family.

The world lost the beautiful smile that conveyed an overflowing loving heart when Bill took his last breath here on earth. Bill's generosity and love for people was infectious because it overflowed with the love of Jesus.....you couldn't be around him without feeling such a love and joy. Although it's a trite thing to say, it's true....our loss is Heaven's gain. I know in my heart that Bill's heart was full when Jesus came to take him home that day on the dock.

I am so sorry to the family for the loss of Bill.Many years ago I lived down from them on Morgantown Rd and 144.Jill was a good friend of mine. Bill was so pleasant to everyone he met and so kind. My daughter rented from him to. He will be sadly missed by many people. Prayers for the family and my thoughts are with you all.

The Bible talks of a man being above reproach , who looks for the good in others and one who encourages people who need it. That is who Bill was. Let me add trustworthy and wise as well. He has left a wonderful legacy to his family and all who knew him. Prayers for all of you.

Bill was one of the nicest guys in the world, he always greeted you with a smile. The love affair he and Jen shared was beautiful and my heart truly aches for her loss. I pray for her, Will, and Carlie that the pain of their loss will be eased by their faith and love in the Lord. I know they will find comfort knowing Bill is in heaven with God and his parents. I know the pain of losing him here on earth too soon is sharp and deep but I also know how strong you all are. Few times in my life have I been speechless. My friend, my relative and my colleague, Bill lit up a room with his kindness and faith. We argued who loved their grandkids the most! Our real estate transactions were always a pleasure because Bill loved life. His love for Jen and the kids is what he lived for. He enjoyed helping buyers and sellers finding them their dream home. Bill was so excited in his and Jen’s next adventure. Bill proudly talked about our family in Switzerland and Kentucky and we spent many hours laughing and comparing the two! I know Bill has entered the gates of heaven yet it is hard to let go of such a wonderful person like Bill. RIP my friend. 💕

I am so sorry for your loss! All the Inabnitt's have felt like family all these years! They were all my Mom and Dad's friends and mine as I grew up! I still hold all of you in a special place in my heart! I used to babysit Bill and Jill when I was a teenager sometimes! Gone too soon, Bill RIP!
