William Dewitt Kitchell, age 73, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at his home in Greenwood, IN.Bill was born in Kokomo, IN on May 21, 1944 to William D. Kitchell, Sr. and Winifred Kitchell. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1962 and then IU School of Business. Over the years, Bill managed construction businesses, sales and marketing at Ameritech, owned and operated Kitchell & Associates in Indianapolis and led the RYPPERS. He was a devoted husband, loving dad and grandpa who was loved and respected by all who knew him. He loved children and coached various youth sports during his lifetime. Bill also reached out and helped so many people along the way—a true man of integrity. He was the “Anticipator” always planning ahead! He and his wife enjoyed family parties, road trips and bird watching on their wooded lake front home. He is survived by his loving wife, Anita; brothers Dr. Richard Kitchell (Louann); David Kitchell (Linda); daughters Beth A. Kitchell Woodard (Bill) and Lisa Hanger; sons Todd A. Kitchell (Maggie), Timm Hanger, Todd Hanger; grandchildren Marcus, Zachary, Sarah and Rachael; one great grandson Kameron and great granddaughter, Trinity. Bill was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Kitchell McClure (Ed). A visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 2:00 until time of the funeral service at 4:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. Burial will be on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, IN.
