William Edward “Bill” Doss, 57, of New Palestine, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023. He was born on December 2, 1965, in Somerset, Kentucky, the son of Randall Lee and Charlene June (Hadley) Doss.
On June 17, 1989, he married his wife Jean Ann (Lake) Doss in Fishers, Indiana. They have 2 children, Cassie and Kyle Doss.
He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had such a big personality and was the life of the party. He also was an inspiring man, creating an impact on many individuals including his family, friends, coworkers, and others who had the pleasure of knowing him. His laughter was contagious.
Bill started his own successful business, Central Indiana Moulding and Millwork, in 1997. He initially worked out of his detached garage, shipping his first order in May 1997. After six months, his company moved to a larger facility on the near east side of Indianapolis. After outgrowing that facility, he bought property on Emerson Avenue for a larger headquarters, successfully growing the business into one of his greatest accomplishments. Before starting his own company, he worked in the building industry for many years.
Bill was a graduate of Franklin Central High School in 1983 and attended Butler University from 1983-1987. He played football throughout high school and college. He loved to reminisce about playing football and later watching sports whether in person or on television. He recently rekindled his passion for his favorite hobby of wood working by remodeling his home for himself and his family.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; children, Cassie and Kyle Doss; mother, June (Hadley) Doss; brother, Kevin (Kim) Doss; father and mother-in-law, Dudley and Virginia Lake; sister-in-law Debbie (Tim) Landis, sister-in-law Cindy (Brad) Stewart and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Randall Lee Doss.
