William Kenneth “Kenny” Turner

William Kenneth “Kenny” Turner passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021. He was a long-time resident of Greenwood, IN.He was born on October 25, 1933 in Helmsburg, IN to Demaree Turner and Grace (Schrougham) Turner.Survivors include three sons: Richard (Debra), Bill (Kathy), John (Catherine); one daughter: Vicki; one sister: Carol; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.He was preceeded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Josephine (Burdine) Turner; sister Jennie Dean and brothers Clarence Eugene and Charles Wayne.Kenny went to Southport High School and then went into the Navy, graduating from Company 647 in 1955. Later, he worked for many years at Allison Transmissions until retirement in 1992. Soon after, with his wife Jo, he partook in many dealer trades at Ray Skillman dealerships in Greenwood. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel.
