Bill was one of the Good Guys in how he treated you. I really only got to deal with him on a professional basis, but during those times it was quite a wonderful experience. My prayers to the Family......

Lynn,My mom just told me about Bill. Im so sorry to hear. He was an awesome dude. I remember fondly being a young teenager working for Bill building fences and serving up soft serve at TCBY. He was my first boss and was a great example of work ethic and a very nice man! Sending love from Western North Carolina.Austin Edwards

Lynn and Family,It is with deep sadness and profound loss that I write this note. Over the years Bill and I had been the closest of friends, but as life and time so often does, our lives grew in different directions. We stayed in touch through class reunions, veteran gatherings and holiday greetings. It just never seems enough. Memories of his jokes, his laughter, his stories and our sharing of friends will last a lifetime. I will forever remember and treasure those memories. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort in this most difficult of times. With sincere thoughts and prayers. John and Robyn

I worked for Bill for 5 years. I loved working for him, he would tell me stories and on Fridays when we weren't busy we would play dice. He was a kind, loving and wonderful man. He treated my children like his own grandchildren. When ever they were sick and I couldn't stay home he would let them come with me and hang out on the couch in the other room. He would always ask them if they needed a coke or candy and them smile at me. I will miss him dearly.

My heart is saddened from the loss of a great friend, and my thoughts and prayers are with Lyn, Rachael, Jennifer, Russ and their families. We had some fun times at the Indy 500 with Bill and Lyn and Bill wanted to be at the race . Rain, cold weather, ir beautiful sunshine. We had some very interesting lunches together with banter about Notre Dame and Clemson football. Bill always had a great story to tell anyone that would listen ! Peace and rest my friend .
