Winifred Iren Golladay 85 years old of New Ross passed away Sunday October 15 at the St. Clara Hospital in Crawfordsville. She was born June 17, 1921 in Ladoga the daughter of the late Winfred Vice and the late Anita Robbins. She married Samuel (Bud) Golladay in Ladoga on September 16, 1939. He survives. She was a member of the New Ross United Methodist Church, Monte Carlo Whisk Club in New Ross, New Ross Legion Auxillary Post 2427, Eagles Auxillary of Crawfordsville Post 1005. She worked 10 years at the Weathervane in Crawfordsville. Other survivors include a son Richard (Janet) Golladay of Crawfordsville, 3 grandsons and 5 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren, sisters Helen Bronaugh of New Ross, Barbara McKinzie of Ladoga, Ruth (Roy Lee) Moore of Crawfordsville, brothers Raymond Vice of Crawfordsville, Chester (Dorothy) Vice of Ladoga and Harold (Gail) Vice of Oregeon, several nieces and nephews. She was prceded in death by a son John Golladay a sister Martha Cornett and 3 brothers Robert, Kenneth and Virgil Vice. Visiting hours will be Tuesday Oct. 17 at the Porter Funeral Home In Jamestown from 4:00 to 8:00pm where the service will be Wednesday Oct 18 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in The New Ross Cemetery.
